Stay Clean and Organized On-The-Go This Spring With These Hacks
Share
Spring is the perfect time to refresh your parenting routine and get organized. Whether you’re at home or on the go, it’s important to keep your little one’s essentials tidy and within reach whenever you need them. Here’s how to do it:
1. Declutter your diaper bag
Every diaper bag needs a good declutter for peace of mind no matter the occasion. Start by emptying your diaper bag and tossing out things you don’t need anymore. This can be old receipts, snacks, and wet wipes that may have been dried out.
Once you’ve decluttered your bag, you can get it washed.

3. Create your “Grab and Go” essentials
Besides a pack of wipes, you’ll also need other items your baby will need on your next outing. Pack these things in your diaper bag before your next outing:
- Your baby’s toys
- A change of clothes
- Extra diapers
- Snacks
- Your baby’s bottles
- A changing pad
-
Your baby carrier

4. Rotate your baby’s entertainment
Other than clearing up clutter in your diaper bag, remember to rotate your baby’s toys and entertainment. Change them out every week, and use the pockets to store smaller toys while traveling. That way, you won’t lose them easily.
5. Spring cleaning on the go
Be prepared for any mess while enjoying the outdoors this spring. Whether you’re on a playdate or enjoying a family picnic at the park, our dry wipes will help you stay clean and prepared. They can be used dry to mop up wet spills or moistened with water to wipe down your diaper bag or changing pad.
6. Keep your car tidy
Your diaper bag isn’t the only thing that needs organizing — your car too! Before your next road trip, take the time to clean your car inside and out. Use a portable vacuum cleaner to vacuum out pebbles and crumbs, and get a couple of car organizers to keep your items in place.
If you’ve got a diaper caddy, stock it up with your baby’s items and take it out with you. You can keep it in the backseat of your car.
P.S. Don’t forget to reorganize your trunk too!

7. Clean and declutter your home
On days when you’re not traveling (or if the kids are out for their playdate), do a routine spring cleaning and declutter your home.
- For the playroom: Tidy up the toys and put them away in dedicated organizers.
- For the nursery: Change the crib sheets and wipe down surfaces like bookshelves and the changing table.
- For the bedroom: Reorganize clothes and other items in your drawers and closets to create more space to store more things.
- For the kitchen: Stock up on ingredients or anything you’re running out of in the kitchen and scrub down any dirty surfaces like the stove and the floors.
- For the bathroom: Likewise, scrub down the walls and floors and clean the toilet. Throw out empty bottles and replace the soap and handwash.
- For the living room: If there are any toys in the living room, pick them up and store them in a storage basket. Otherwise, vacuum the couches, floor, and carpet, and wipe down any surfaces if they’re dusty.
8. Do your laundry
Laundry days during spring cleaning might be overwhelming at first but it’s a great chance to tackle all kinds of items. During this time, wash your bed sheets, comforters and duvets, your baby’s soft toys, curtains, and more.
Tip: Don’t wash everything in one go. Make sure your clothes are washed first before washing other things.
9. Meal prep
On days when you’re busy or too tired to cook, meal prepping ahead of time saves you a lot of time cooking your family meals. It also ensures you get to fully use the ingredients you have in your fridge, and plan nutritious meals for your family.
Since it’s spring, go for meals and snacks that incorporate more fruits and vegetables for better nutrition!
With these helpful tips for spring, expect a refreshed season to take on new goals in life!
